Blog virgin

Well, I never pictured myself as a blogger. But I realized today how much I enjoy reading up on the lives of my friends who live so far away. So I thought, "Maybe they would enjoy hearing about me, too." So here it goes...

To catch everyone up to speed. I graduated with my Ph.D. in Molecular Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutis this past May from the Mayo Clinic. After a month backpacking through Europe with my brother, I 've now settled down in central PA. I am currently working as a post-doc at Penn State in Molecular Toxicology and Carcinogenesis...that is, I figure out how certain drug and chemicals can cause cancer. I'll have more stories to post in the future, complete with pictures...so come back now, y'hear!
